honestly i've tried all those fancy indicators and gave up lol. this is the only thing that's been working for me lately and it's so simple it's almost stupid.
so i just put a 9 ema on the 5 min chart. nothing else. no rsi macd whatever.
heres what i do:
if price is above the ema i only look to buy. if below only sell. thats rule 1.
then i just wait for price to come back and touch that ema line. but not just any touch. i need to see a wick. like a rejection. if it just blasts right through the line i ignore it. no trade. move on.
when i see that wick i enter right there. no waiting for close or anything.
sl is easy. just 5 pips past that wick. tp 10 pips. thats it. 2 to 1. nothing crazy.
i only take 3 trades max a day. sometimes if i win the first one i just stop. no point getting greedy and giving it back lol. happened too many times.
honestly the hardest part is not taking bad entries. sometimes u sit there for an hour waiting but thats better than losing.
anyway works for me. might not work for everyone but if u want something simple give it a shot. let me know if u try it
