- Off-Topic Content: Discussions unrelated to trading, financial markets, or platform features will be moved or deleted.
3. Strict Anti-Spam & Promotion Rules
FXTradeOcean is a collaborative learning network, not an advertising channel. The following activities are strictly forbidden:
- Referral & Affiliate Links: Unsolicited posting of broker referral links, prop firm affiliate tags, or external registration codes.
- Commercial Solicitations: Promoting paid signal services, private account management, commercial courses, or third-party paid products without express written authorization from FXTradeOcean.
- Unsolicited Direct Messages (DMs): Reaching out to community members via private message for self-promotion or financial solicitations.
- Message Flooding: Repetitive posts, mass tagging, or thread hijacking.
4. Honest Claims & Risk Disclaimer
- No Unrealistic Profit Claims: Members must not post manipulated screenshots, guaranteed return promises, or misleading performance claims.
- Non-Advisory Scope: All user trading setups, analysis, and ideas represent personal opinion only. Members must not offer individual financial or investment advice.
5. Intellectual Property & Piracy Protection
- Authorized Material Only: You may only upload or share content that you own or have explicit permission to distribute.
- Prohibited Content: Sharing pirated Expert Advisors (EAs), cracked indicators, proprietary source code, copyrighted trading books, paid courses, or unauthorized PDFs is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate content removal and account review.
6. AI Tools & Journal Responsibly
- Supplemental Utility: Insights generated through the FXTradeOcean AI Trade Journal and related platform utilities are designed to assist analytical learning.
- Independent Verification: Members must independently verify AI outputs. FXTradeOcean takes no responsibility for trading decisions made based on AI-generated data.
7. Account Safety & Privacy
- Protect Personal Data: Never publish sensitive private data—such as passwords, bank details, government IDs, phone numbers, or live trading account login credentials—on public threads.
- Impersonation: Creating fake accounts, impersonating staff members, or pretending to represent other traders is grounds for an immediate permanent ban.
8. Moderation & Enforcement
FXTradeOcean moderators maintain community safety and reserve the authority to take action on any content or account that violates these standards. Actions include:
- Moving or editing non-compliant content.
- Issuing formal account warnings.
- Temporarily restricting or suspending account privileges.
- Permanently banning accounts for severe or repeated infractions without prior notice.
9. Reporting Violations
If you encounter spam, intellectual property theft, abusive behavior, or policy violations, report the item using the on-site flag/report feature or contact the moderation team directly rather than engaging in public disputes.
